Thankful

Last night I returned from a long weekend in Sarasota visiting my best friend. The hospitality he and his family offered to me was wonderful and I so appreciate being able to simply ‘hang out’ without expectation. Wonderful conversation, good food, great wine, and hours alone at the beach helped me breathe deep and relax into whatever is next in life. Every now and then, we need to step out of our routines in order to see a bit more clearly. I am grateful for the ability to do so in such a beautiful place. Between work and health issues I found a piece of time to reflect and renew and re-enter my routine with a new sense of hopefulness. And so my heart is filled with gratitude as I offer a simple prayer: Thank you!
